We collect information you provide directly and information generated as you use VendoorX.
Information you provide
- Account: full name, email, password, business name, phone number, profile photo.
- Listings: product title, description, photos/videos, price, location, category.
- Payment: bank details for payouts (stored by Paystack — never by VendoorX). Card details are never stored on our servers.
- Communications: support messages, dispute submissions, reviews.
Information collected automatically
- Device data: browser, OS, device identifiers.
- Usage data: pages visited, search queries, click patterns, listing views.
- Approximate location (city / area) when you enable location features.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Operate, maintain, and improve VendoorX.
- Process transactions and send purchase confirmations.
- Verify seller identity and business legitimacy.
- Send weekly deal digests and platform updates (opt-out anytime).
- Detect and prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Respond to support requests and dispute resolution.
- Comply with Nigerian law.
- Personalise your experience by surfacing relevant listings.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:
- Other users: your public profile (name, business, rating, listings) is visible to all users. Your WhatsApp number is shared with buyers only when you enable it.
- Payment processors: Paystack receives payment / payout information.
- Service providers: hosting, analytics, email — under confidentiality agreements.
- Legal requirements: when required by Nigerian law or to protect rights.
- Business transfers: in the event of a merger or acquisition.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time at Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by emailing privacy@vendoorx.ng.
5. Your Rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Contact privacy@vendoorx.ng to exercise these rights.
6. Children
VendoorX is intended for users aged 16 and above.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via email and an in-app banner. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
